About Men On Mission
How Men on Mission Started
We formed this organization from Greg Barton’s email, which is its foundation. Greg had just completed a year-long leadership program called Joshua’s Men at 12Stone Church. He was ready to do more to serve others when he finished the year. He laid out a plan, and we are executing his objectives.
At Men On Mission, we believe that the journey of personal growth and service is meant to be shared. Each of us has a unique story and a distinct path, and we recognize that our individual experiences can illuminate the way for others. Our community thrives on the idea that when one man rises, we all rise together. We are not just a group; we are a brotherhood committed to amplifying each other’s strengths, tackling challenges head-on, and celebrating the victories that come from dedication and teamwork.
What We Do
Every month, our Breakfast and lunch gatherings in Flowery Branch become more than just meetings; they are transformative experiences that foster camaraderie and encourage open dialogue. Here, we share our goals, reflect on our challenges, and strategize how to serve our families and communities collectively and beyond. It is a space where every voice matters, no one walks alone, and the power of collective faith infuses our mission with purpose.
Additionally, our community extends its reach beyond the local meetings with our commitment to service. We cultivate an environment where giving back is not only encouraged but celebrated. Our service events, like distributing food in commerce and Pendergrass, create a ripple effect of kindness and compassion. When you donate, you are not simply providing items but sharing hope and rebuilding lives. Each can of food, each article of clothing, and each moment of your time spent in service is a testament to our shared humanity. These actions strengthen our bonds, reminding us that we all have the same Heavenly Father and should love everyone unconditionally while serving.
